July 7, ’09 I was the featured guest for “Guitar Night w/ John Pisano @ Spazio Jazz Club in Sherman Oaks, CA. The rhythm section included bassist Chris Connor and drummer Jimmy Branly.
Jeff Colella was added the 2nd set and we performed tunes from my new
CD, Neon.

"Neon" is Chartbound in this week's Jazz Week Jazz Album Chart. In effect this means that the CD is in the Top 20% of the some 300 CDs that are getting at least 5 reports to Jazz Week! Pretty cool!

"Neon" is the long awaited solo project from Mike Clinco on the Whaling City Sound label. This 9 song CD features Bob Sheppard, Jimmy Branly, Darek Oles, Jimmy Johnson and Walt Fowler. I will be posting pdf files of the tunes with the release of the CD.
